Wantable Beauty Box - July 2013 Photo Gallery Review

Wantable Beauty Box  is a $36/month high end beauty subscription. Each beauty box sent is based on your personal profile and contains 4-6 full-size top-quality items that are curated by professional makeup artists and stylists. They also have a monthly Jewelry Box available for the same price. I subscribe to both!! This is by far my favorite beauty subscription, albeit a bit pricey, you get your money back in value!!♥

I was quite happy with this box and I want to see how it adds up!

MiA BelleZZa Ooh La La Eye Liner/Eye Shadow Duo in Adorn & Fine Liner Brush

 I don't think this went on as smooth as a would have liked but I do like the understated sparkle in the one dark blue.  You definitely will have to wet your brush and scrape up the top layer to get to apply nicely.  I don't feel that it is pigmented enough to even work as eye shadow without wetting it.  Eye Liner and Brush Value $24.50

CALA - Travel Retractable Lip Brush

Pretty handy if you use a lip gloss that requires a brush.  Being retractable really is nice feature anyway so you don't get lip gloss or lipstick on other things.  This one is a very nice and smooth well working retractable lip brush.  Value $8.00.

 Swagger Cosmetics - Highlighting Power in Champagne in the Bubble Bath

This one I was pleasantly surprised with.  At first glance I was thinking .. this isn't going to do anything but once I swatched it I was impressed!  It has such a pretty understates light bronze glowing sparkle and now I can't wait to try it on my face!  Value $14.50.

Manna Kadar - Blush in Entice & Bronze Beauty Self Tanning Lotion 1 oz 

I thought this blush would be too dark for me until I swatched it.  It looks gorgeous and has bronze glowing sparkles.  I can't wait to try this blush.  I am in the market for a new blush right now.  Blush Value $19.00.  Self Tanner Value $4.75.  - Total Value $23.75.

Brazen Cosmetics - Loose Eyeshadow in Wicked

At first I thought...... Another Green?? I just got a green eyeshadow in last month's box.  But then I swatched it and it is Gorg.  It has a teal/golden bronze undertone which might just be a winner!  Value $18.00.

Report Card Notes:

The value of this box was great however I am used to seeing a much higher value from Wantable which is why they got a B-.  The packaging and branding is clean, fresh and clasic. Their model is beautiful and right on trend.  Their referral program isn't the best in the beauty box market but it is still a good program.  This box brought a lot of new brands to the table that I have never heard of before.  I really enjoy finding new products and so I appreciate all of the new faces.  Wantable is still one of my favorite beauty boxes, they always send me things I want to try and that will match my skin tones and such.  They have a great profile builder which they use to customize the boxes.  It would be nice to see them work with some kind of theme each month... it would only make the box better and it is already great!!  For instance I got a lip brush this month but no lip stick to use it with... this month's box really didn't connect the dots very well.  Still amazing, Still love it... but there is always room for improvement!
