BeautySage by YouBeauty usually has a beauty sample box for sale ranging from $10-$12 each. These are not monthly boxes but rather one time purchase boxes and they change them up every now and then. They have bundled their favorite skin, hair and body products into sample boxes. Why? Because buying beauty products is an investment, and we want to make sure you love what you get. Each themed box is packed with products proven to solve specific beauty concerns. Bonus: They make the perfect gift!

LET'S SEE THE SEPTEMBER EDITOR'S BOX!!
Hello BeautySage! Welcome to my home :))))))) Value $1
Carol's Daghter Monoi (Repairing) Hair Mask, .71 oz. Value $3.24
I haven't tried this yet but can't wait. This is sold at Sephora.
Wow, this Marula Pure Marula Oil has RAVE reviews everywhere I go!! I can't wait to try it! I was scared because I break out easily but the reviews I read settled my fear. Aprox .25 oz. Value $14.50
I love this exfoliating foaming cleanser by Suki Face!! It smells amazing and feels fresh and invigorating!! Value $2.74
Carol's Daughter, Hair Milk, Pudding. Style. Define. Hold. Simple, Perfect Curls, .71 oz. Value $2.59
I haven't tried this yet either but I have curly hair so I am excited! It seems that everything so far in this box has been items that are sold at Sephora. Not a bad thing. Just an observation. I love Sephora.
Pretty :)
Lotus Wei, Infinite Love Mist. 10 ml. Value $7.95
This smelled ok but I didn't love it. I did just read up on it though and it says that you are supposed to mist and inhale it 5 times a day so maybe I will try that and see if it brightens my outlook on life like it is supposed to!!
BayBerry Naturals Lavender Bar Soap. Full Size. Value $6.50
This is a no win situation for me. I do not use bar soap and I hate the smell of lavender!!
Everything in the box. This is nice assortment and all of the items have RAVE reviews. Actually reading the reviews today got me excited to try everything that I haven't tried yet... which is everything except for the SukiFace face scrub!!
Let's see how it all adds up:

Report Card Notes:
This was my first experience with Beauty Sage and it is a great one! At this price point they are basically competing with Birchbox, ipsy, BeautyBox5 & Sample Society. I gave them a B+ for value for dollar even though $39 is great because Birchbox and ipsy quite often go way over that and they are only $10/Month. They didn't have a theme of this box and that's ok with me. I think themes with make up are hard to pull together. ipsy always tries to do a theme but it never makes any sense. All of the products were high end, highly rated products that were new to me so that thrills me! They do not have a standard referral program and they need one!! They do have an affiliate program which offers 7% on sales but 7% really is not a lot... I'd rather get purchase points for referrals! They should also consider a monthly auto-shipping option. I think they would make more money if they did! The value of this box was great, hitting right around the $39 but I have seen better from the competition... I definitely recommend this sample box for anyone interested in finding and trying new must have items in make up and beauty!
