ipsy is always great and this box did not disappoint. I love their branding and their monthly themes. This month's theme was classic beauty and so the free bag that they give every month matched that theme. The bag is super cute and a nice perk for their monthly subscriber however I don't know why they bother with themes but then don't really explain them or match the products to the theme. It is odd. NYX and John Frieda... ehhh. They are ok brands I guess but I like NEW and/or higher end brands!! I actually like John Frieda a lot and will use both of these samples but it is definitely not new to me. I would have loved to have gotten the Butter nail polish and Cailyn lip balm instead!! I was not at all impressed with The Life Palette's super thin sample this month especially because it was Michelle Phans!! You think she would let her subscribers try her new stuff first...hmmm... Their referral program isn't that great, you have to refer 4 people just to get a free add on like a nail polish or eye shadow and there isn't a way to earn free months but at least they have one. The value of this box was great, hitting right around the $32 mark plus offering many discounts at all of their partner's stores but I have seen better... Last month my bag had a $50+ Value. I can't wait to try the Elizabeth Mott It’s So Big Volumizing Mascara but that is about all that got me excited this month. I definitely recommend this beauty bag for anyone interested in make up and beauty! It is one of the best... just wish they had a better referral program!
