Truth be told, this was my least favorite Wantable box to date. I did contact Wantable regarding my dislike of this box and believe or not, they never got back to me. I am assuming because this was a complimentary box (for review) but it still would have been nice to hear from them. I contacted them about 3 weeks ago and have not heard a peep.
Sooo.. Why didn't I love it??
Well, there were only three items rather than the four that I am used to from Wantable and the quality did not seem to be any higher than before. The stud pyramid earrings were ok but I am more of a dangly girl. Plus the polish or metal they used it not very flattering and they looked hideous on my ear lobes (I didn't even include the picture). They were too big and hung down too low. I honestly think the bracelet is useless, it is pretty on the rack but that is about it...Why?? 1. It looks too big on my wrist, 2. It is very formal but not the quality that I would want to wear for a special occasion, 3. I don't think this goes with anything I own and 4. I don't think it is very on trend which Wantable is usually so good about!! The ring was ok, I guess, but certainly nothing to write home about. The packaging and branding of their box is crisp, clean and flawless but I hope that they are not down grading their boxes from 4-5 to 3-4 pieces on a regular basis!! It would be nice to have more detailed info on each piece and also it would be nice to get 3 pieces that have a theme or work together. Their models are beautiful and likable and their slogans are fresh and fun. The value for dollar is usually there but with this box... I am not so sure. I wouldn't have bought and of these items and I don't like the way they look on either... plus the quality is just so so. Shopping sales I probably could have picked all 3 of these pieces for about $15. They have a referral program but it is not the greatest... especially because of the fact that the price of the box is quite high at $36 and they do not run promos that often which help referrers to get sign ups. This box brought me some new jewelry but I am pretty sure that it will all be gifted or given away. Keep in mind though that this was my first disappointment with Wantable and I have seriously LOVED every other single thing that I have gotten from them... so grain of salt here or maybe you totally disagree and love my box?? Who knows.
