Birchbox Review - June 2013 - Monthly Box Subscription

BirchBox is a $10/Month subscription service.  Every month, you'll receive a box filled with beauty, grooming, and lifestyle samples from both up-and-coming and well known brands. Each delivery will include a mix of categories, as well as lifestyle items. Samples are generously sized, with enough product to allow you to figure out if they're right for you. 

At only $10 a month this subscription is hard to pass up... 

This is my first Birchbox delivery and honestly I was little let down as it seems that past month's reviews had better boxes.  Don't get me wrong I still liked it and it still has incredible value but I just think other months were better. Let's see how the value to dollar adds up......

Glee Gum, Sugar-Free & Color Club Nail Polish in "Reign in Spain"

This is what was inside of the mint green B Box.  The Glee Gum is pretty good.  I ♥ the Color Club nail polish color.   You can buy the 4 pack Color Club Wanderlust Collection for $8 which is a pretty good price!! I can't wait to try the color I got.  They also have a contest going on right now and anyone that posts their mani using the color club Wanderlust Collection sent in this month's Birchbox will be entered to win. Whish Shave Cream in Blueberry .25 fl oz

This Whish Shave Cream smells amazing!  I haven't tried it yet.  I usually use the Shick Intuition which already has shaving cream built in so I may give this to my honey to use for his face! Value $1.36.


Furlesse Eleven Frown Reducing Patches - 3 ct

Furlesse elevens frown line reducing patches eh?  The full size is 30 patches and they cost $19.99. I don't know about this, lol, but maybe my Mom will like them... Value $2.01



Eyeko Skinny Mini Liquid Eyeliner in Navy Blue .04 oz

I will tell you one thing this eyeliner doesn't budge!!  I just did a swatch on my hand then a few seconds later started rubbing on it and nothing, and I mean NOTHING rubbed off.  That is pretty awesome!  I will definitely be giving this Eyeko London eyeliner a try! The full size is .07 oz and ring up at $16.  Value $9.16. (This almost covers the cost of the box by itself!!)

Decent box... but they could have fit more! At least a whole pack of gum... geeeez hehe

And the Judgement is...

I like it! I like it a lot.  The nail polish is my favorite & the eyeliner is a close second.  I will not use the line reducing patches and probably will not use the shave the cream though my honey will.  And the gum, well yea, I'll eat it.. or chew it ;)  So I paid $10 and receive $17.46 in products.... pretty good but I have definitely seen better months from Birchbox!! Final verdict is that this subscription is well worth the $10 a month and I'm hooked!  How about you?
