Report Card Notes:

The last box I got was very adventurous but this one toned it down a bit... which I like!! I love the smell of the lotion and the body spray. The packaging and branding is sexy, new and interesting. I guess The value for dollar is also definitely there because retail prices on these items is up and over $45.  They got a C- for referral program because they have a referral program but require customers to enter a promo code to get credit for the referral rather than using a unique URL.  This way does usually work but only if they also give you a decent discount to entice the new customer to use your promo code at check out.  The problem that I encounter with Spicy's referral program is that not only do they only offer you a 5% discount to use for referrals but also when you go to their website to sign up they offer their promo code to receive a 20% discount off of their first box... so WHY would anyone use my promo code for 5% when they can use the promo code that they just found for 20%??? They wouldn't and that is my exact problem...  I am sure that I have sent several referrals to their website but I have not received any credit because they are not using my promo code at checkout and I don't blame them!! So yes, they have a referral program but honestly it has been totally useless for me thus far.  I have also contacted customer support regarding this issue but they said that it was just a limited time promo for the 20% and so soon my 5% would mean something but I have been watching and they have consistently been offering a larger discount right on their website for more then 5%.   Our last box brought us a 50 shades of Gray themed night which was fun.  This month there was no theme and I wish it did!  I really enjoy trying new things and so I appreciate the effort they put into this box to create a theme like this.
