I love their fun sayings :)

It was a hard decision, deciding what to make!! I decided on the wall hanging figuring I could use it hold hair clips and such.

I glued glitter to all of the beads before I made my wall hanging... I forgot to take a picture of my finished project!!  I need to do that!

2 Packs of wood beads $1.99 each, Total $4

Grey + yellow cord, estimated value: $5.50
Wood dowel $.66
Metal "O" Ring (not pictured) $.66

Extra for the month. $1.99

I like this new achievement award thing they are starting, it's great!  Value $.50 (but priceless :))

I loved this project though Octobers was not quite as exciting...  I hope November will get me excited again.  Well done on September's box Whimseybox!

Report Card Notes:

This DIY macrame wall hanging or planter holder was right up my alley and either one is super cute too!  They could have included some nicer beads or maybe some paint to make them pretty?  It was kind of plain, I scoured the internet trying to find a more interesting "something" to make with the materials. I ended up making the macrame wall hangin project and I just glued glitter on all of the beads to spice it up.  The packaging and branding is fresh, fun and beautiful.  :Last month I said" It is rare in crafting boxes to see this kind of value for dollar. Not only did they put together this awesome project and teach you how to do it they also gave you an awesome deal on supplies!!"  I cannot really say that about this month and I do not think that October's box is any better in regards to value for dollar.  I am still glad I picked up this subscription because I am loving it so far.  This is my third box, I already have my fourth box (Oct)... and I don't like it at all... November please be better!! I don't expect to love every month but I do expect the value of the box to be what I pay .... Especially since we are SPOILED :) and most boxes give us a much higher value then what we pay per month.

I would suggest that Whimseybox keep their value up and perhaps add some more detail to each project.
